Alacranes Take Down Leopardos, 6-5
The Mayabeque Alacranes topped the Santa Clara Leopardos, 6-5, with center fielder Marco Antonio Murillo playing a big role. Murillo was 3-4 with 3 singles and a walk. He scored 2 runs for the Alacranes in the win. Santiago Ramírez, credited with the win in relief, is now 5-9. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1 innings. The third-place Leopardos dropped to 63-69.

The Alacranes got a clutch hit from catcher Arsenio García. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Alacranes.

"It was a solid, all-around game for us," said Mayabeque manager Pascual Mireles.
