Rocking Horses Dominate, Sweep Division Series
Calvino Mejía isn't taking anything for granted, but he likes his team's chances to capture a Championship of New England.

"We're playing great baseball right now," said the Winchendon Rocking Horses hurler, who was named MVP of the Division Series after his club swept the Griswold Vampires.

It's off to the Pennant Championship Series for Winchendon, after winning the clinching game by a 13-4 count and the series 4-0.

It remains to be seen whether Mejía's confidence is warranted, but at this point the team is looking good. The MVP had a 1.56 ERA over 17.1 innings pitched, with a 2-0 record.

The Winchendon Rocking Horses don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Templeton Red Onions - Newport Pilot Whales series. Newport leads the series 3 games to 0. The Pennant Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes.
