Quesiteros Advance to Serie Eliminatoria
The Isabela Quesiteros appear confident and poised as they head off to the Serie Eliminatoria, after eliminating the San German Golondrinas by a series score of 3-1 in the Serie Preliminar.

"Things are clicking, it feels like this could be our year," said Isabela pitcher Guillermo Rivera, who was named series MVP. "You hate to use the word destiny, but it feels special."

The Quesiteros won the final game by a 7-0 count at Parque de las Golondrinas to wrap up the series.

For the series, Rivera had a 0.92 ERA over 19.2 innings pitched. He added 17 strikeouts with a 2-1 record.

The Isabela Quesiteros will play against the Fajardo Insolentes in the next round. Fajardo won their series against the Las Piedras Menestrales 3 games to 0. The Serie Eliminatoria schedule will be announced after the Serie Preliminar finishes.
