René Calva went the distance at La Timonera to drag the Patillas Cuervos back to parity with the Naguabo Navegadores. The right-handed Calva needed 131 pitches to get through the complete game effort, which the Cuervos won, 4-0. The clubs are now tied 1-1 in the best-of-7 series.

Calva went the distance for Patillas, allowing no runs on 3 hits, while striking out 6.

"Everyone was so fired up that a rain delay was the last thing we wanted," Calva said. "Thankfully, it turned out OK."

Game 3 is scheduled for Friday at Campo Atletico de San Benito in Patillas.
