Matadioses Use Late Surge to Win
The Anasco Matadioses picked up a win at Coliseo Hermógenes Cárdenas, knocking off the Rincon Ingenieros, 7-6, in 10 innings. On the mound for Anasco was right-hander Fernando López. He played a pivotal role in the triumph. Rincon now is 4-3.

The result might have been different, had it not been for 28-year old right fielder Sebastian Roussel. Roussel had a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the tenth inning to put the Matadioses ahead, 7-6. For the game, Roussel had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"Fun game," said Roussel, "even when the outcome was in doubt."
