Ponce, Telegrafistas Force Game 5 in 15-Inning Marathon
The Arroyo Telegrafistas went deep into extra innings at Estadio Municipal de Arroyo, slipping away with a hard-fought, 8-7 win to tie the Serie Eliminatoria.

Arroyo took the 15-inning marathon behind the work of pitcher Pablo Ponce. Ponce came in in relief and pitched to 24 batters to aid the Arroyo cause. The clubs are now even at 2-2 in their best-of-5 series.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the 15th for Arroyo. That's when Jaime Ortega hit a run-scoring double off 28-year old left-handed pitcher Pablo Silva to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"I made some pitches when I had to," said Ponce.

The next game is set to be played for Monday, November 3rd , 1913 at Estadio Municipal de Aguada in Aguada.
