When the games really matter, the Corozal Mofongueros put on their best show, beating the Las Piedras Menestrales by a final score of 10-9. Delfín Hernández went 2 for 3 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Corozal now leads Las Piedras 2-0 in the best-of-5 affair.

The clutch hit was provided by Justino Garza. He delivered a walk-off run-scoring single off Jaime Sánchez in the bottom of the 14th.
