Ponce Takes 1-0 Series Lead with Walk-off Win
The Ponce Senores took the first game of the Serie Preliminar in dramatic fashion, topping the San Sebastian Pepinos in a ninth-inning, walk-off, 4-3 win. Pepinos right-hander Hansel Macías was impressive in the loss. He threw 7.2 innings of 4-hit ball.

José Campa was the walk-off hero for Ponce. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Senores first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"I really like what we did out there today," Campa said after the game.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Estadio Radamés Martínez in Ponce.
