Fajardo Needs 10 Innings to Subdue Cayey in Game 1
The Fajardo Insolentes took the first game of the Serie Preliminar in dramatic fashion, topping the Cayey Cornupetas, 4-3, in an extra-inning walk-off win. Insolentes left-hander Diego Sánchez threw 7.2 innings of 6-hit ball.

Casiodoro Delgado delivered a run-scoring hit-by-pitch in the bottom of the tenth to win it for the Insolentes. For the game, Delgado was 2-4 with a triple, a double, and was hit by a pitch, while adding 2 RBI.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Delgado told the Fajardo News.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Estadio Rolando Figueroa in Fajardo.
