Arroyo Tops Maricao, 7-4, Claims 2-1 Series Lead
Despite a great performance by Maricao second baseman Enrique Medina, the Arroyo Telegrafistas defeated the Cafeteros by the score of 7-4 at Estadio Municipal de Arroyo. Medina went 4 for 4 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once, but he could not prevent the Telegrafistas from moving one game closer to the Campeonato de las Ligas. Arroyo now leads the Serie Interdivisional 2-1.

Fernando Landeros helped his team take an early lead with a run-scoring triple. It came in the first inning, making the score 2-0, Telegrafistas.

"We haven't forgotten how long this series might be, but 2-1 is a heck of a lot better than 1-2," Landeros said.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Estadio Municipal de Arroyo in Arroyo.
