Arroyo Advances to Campeonato de las Ligas
While it wasn't a complete mismatch, the Arroyo Telegrafistas showed themselves to be the superior team in the Serie Interdivisional, downing the Maricao Cafeteros 4-2.

"Nothing is ever easy in the Liga Nacional Puertorriquena playoffs. Whether you're a favorite or an underdog, you can't take anyone lightly or you'll get burned," said Víctor Cortez, who was named series MVP after a standout offensive performance.

Arroyo won the final game by a 1-0 count at El Cafetal to clinch its spot in the next round.

They will hope to once again rely on Cortez there, as he hit .450 with 0 home runs, 2 RBI 1 runs scored during the series.

The Arroyo Telegrafistas don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Aguas Buenas Mulos - Rio Grande Cotorras series. Aguas Buenas leads the series 3 games to 2. The Campeonato de las Ligas schedule will be announced after the Serie Interdivisional finishes.
