If the Marquette Smelters were expecting the pressure of the playoffs to get to George Davies, they underestimated the old man.

The Sheboygan Brats got a strong start from the 38-year-old right-hander. Davies threw 9.0 innings allowing 2 runs as Sheboygan won the contest, 4-2, at The Grill to tie their best-of-7 series with the Smelters. The clubs are now tied 2-2.

Second Baseman Atilano Barajas made an impact for Sheboygan, when he swatted a run-scoring double off Sabino Flores in the bottom of the third. For the contest, Barajas was 2 for 5 with a double.

"Winning never gets old," said Davies.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at The Grill in Sheboygan.
