Sánchez Ks 15, Combatientes Top Navegadores on Walk-off to Cut Deficit to 2-1
The Cabo Rojo Combatientes nearly wasted a strong game from starter Luis Sánchez, but were saved by some timely hitting in a walk-off win over the Naguabo Navegadores.

Sánchez was exceptional in the 2-1 win at Parque de los Combatientes. He threw 11.0 innings of 8-hit ball. The win allowed Cabo Rojo to cut the Naguabo lead in the best-of-5 series to 1-2.

The decisive blow was delivered by Julián Jerónimo in the bottom of the 12th when he hit a run-scoring double off five-time All-Star Karim Anbar to win the game for Cabo Rojo. The home crowd went nuts.

"It's great when the crowd goes berserk," Jerónimo said.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Parque de los Combatientes in Cabo Rojo.
