The Aibonito Frios topped the Villalba Mercaderes, 6-3, with first baseman Bill Ferguson playing a big role. Ferguson went 3-3 with a double and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs for the Frios in the win. Marcos Luna earned the win for Aibonito. He lasted 7.2 innings, allowing 3 runs on 12 hits, while striking out 1. With the win, he raised his record to 6-9. Urso Ramírez closed it out for Aibonito, earning his 14th save.
Aibonito used the timely hitting of Erasmo González to seize the win. The designated hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Frios on top, 5-3. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
