Macabeos Walk It Off for 27th Win of Season
Pablo Peres, who finished 4th in the LH in innings pitched with 370.0 in 1911, had a strong outing for the Trujillo Alto Macabeos against the Vieques Esqueletos at Estadio Cordelia Pérez de Verdugo. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 3-2 win. The Macabeos now have a record of 27-53.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the 11th for Trujillo Alto. That's when Flannan Smith hit a 2-run double off 24-year old right-handed pitcher Carmelo González to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

Vieques manager Leo Rosales, after yet another defeat, said: "We miss the feeling of winning."
