Stratton Now 7-4 After Beating Giants
|
Scott Stratton pitched a gem in leading Philadelphia to a 3-1 victory over the New York Giants. The Giants, at 12-31, have lost 7 straight games.
Stratton was effective against the Giants, seldom allowing a hard-hit ball. The right-hander limited New York to just 1 run on 3 hits over 9 innings.
"I was able to miss barrels for the most part and the guys behind me made plays," said Stratton.
