The Rincon Ingenieros trumped the Anasco Matadioses, 5-3, at Estadio Noé Martínez. Rincon center fielder José Medina was terrific. He went 3 for 3 with 3 singles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The winning pitcher was 26-year old right-handed pitcher Oscar Hidalgo. He tossed 114 pitches over 8.2 innings, allowing 3 runs on 9 hits. Julián Loya earned the save for Rincon.
