Mayaguez ace Hortensio Galicia solidified his place in league history with his 250th career victory today at Coliseo Atlético del Oeste. Galicia and the Capitanes bested Rincon 5-3. He checked the Ingenieros on 5 hits in 8 innings and finished the day with 2 strikeouts and 6 walks.

"I've worked hard for this day," Galicia said. "Sometimes I didn't think it would happen. Most of the time it seemed so far off. Now it's here. It's like a dream!"
