Mercaderes Suffer 4-1 Loss to Dulceros
|
Bolívar Maldonado was locked in. The right-hander led the Yabucoa Dulceros to a 4-1 win against the Villalba Mercaderes at Estadio Teodosio Martínez. The Dulceros now own a record of 61-50.
Jesús Martín had a key at-bat with two out in the bottom of the second for Yabucoa. With the bases loaded and the Dulceros leading 1-0, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.
"Whenever we hold the other team to one run," said Dulceros manager Jairo López, "I like our chances."
