A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Orocovis Caciques and Morovis Sanisalvos.
The Orocovis Caciques picked up a win at Coliseo Homero Contreras, knocking off the Morovis Sanisalvos, 3-2. Starting pitcher Ángel Moreno was a big reason why. The Caciques saw their win-loss record go to 46-67. At the same time, the Sanisalvos fell to 67-44.
Orocovis designated hitter Fernando Hurtado helped the Caciques go up, 3-2, in the top of the seventh inning. With the game tied, Hurtado hit a run-scoring single off Morovis pitcher Enrique Ocampo.
Hurtado said afterward that "winning is what it's all about."
