The Ponce Senores and Rincon Ingenieros completed their game despite the rain.

The Ponce Senores picked up a win at Estadio Radamés Martínez, topping the Rincon Ingenieros, 8-1. On the mound for Ponce was left-hander Tomás Sánchez. He played a principal role in the triumph. Sánchez, who led the LH in innings pitched with 385.1 in 1911, went the distance for Ponce. He gave up 1 run on 6 hits.

The fans who filled the stands at Estadio Radamés Martínez to watch the Liga Hostos action seemed to enjoy the game.

"Tomás pitches with such conviction and you see it in his body language, you see it in his attack plan," said Ponce manager Mariano Guerra.

The Ingenieros drop to 5-8, as their stumbling start to the 1913 season continues.
