The Loiza Vejigantes banked on Valentín Ramírez and he turned in a masterful performance. The left-hander kept the Fajardo hitters in check. The final score was 3-0, Vejigantes, in 15 innings. Loiza currently is in second place in the Liga Hostos Metro Este at 48-72.

Loiza used a timely hit from Kieran McGregor to get the win. The second baseman stroked a 2-run double in the top of the 15th inning to put the Vejigantes ahead, 2-0. It might've been his only hit, but it did the trick.

"We didn't score," said losing manager Jack Beach. "That was the problem."
