Capitanes Stick Golondrinas with 5-4 Loss
The Mayaguez Capitanes topped the San German Golondrinas, 5-4, in Liga Hostos action at Coliseo Atlético del Oeste. The game was highlighted by the performance of Mayaguez first baseman Finley Train. Mayaguez occupies first place in the Liga Hostos Oeste at 70-51.

In the bottom of the fourth, William Jepson delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and the bases loaded, the Mayaguez right fielder hit a run-scoring single, putting the Capitanes in front, 5-4.

"Finley leaves the last at-bat behind him, whether it was good or bad, and goes up there and competes on every pitch," said Mayaguez manager Alberto Contreras.
