Though the conditions were not ideal, the Yauco Corsos and Vega Alta Martilleros came back from a rain delay to finish their game.

The Yauco Corsos downed the Vega Alta Martilleros, 5-1, at Coliseo Aldo Gallardo. Stellar pitching by Tito Barrientos had a lot to do with it. The right-hander handcuffed his opponent all game. Barrientos got the win, improving to 10-2. He gave up 6 hits and walked 1 over 6.2 innings. He allowed 1 run.
