The Camuy Murcielagos beat the Orocovis Caciques, 9-8, at Coliseo Carlos Mujica. The win was due in part to second baseman León Villegas, who went 3-3 with a triple, 2 singles, and 2 walks. Roberto Gómez came through with a big-time hit for Camuy. The pinch hitter smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 9-8. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
