Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Cotorras
The Rio Grande Cotorras grabbed a win, 5-1, over the Juncos Valencianos in 13 innings at Recinto Atlético del Noreste. Rio Grande left fielder Alarico Sauceda was 2-5 with a home run, a triple, and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The first-place Cotorras, at 79-49, now lead their division by 19 games.

Sauceda delivered in the clutch for Rio Grande. In the bottom of the 13th, he took a 0-2 cutter from Juncos pitcher Tim Shea and parked it over the fence. The grand slam home run won it for Rio Grande.

"Took some scratching and clawing," said Sauceda. "But we got it done."
