|
The Quebradillas Corsarios snuck past the Trujillo Alto Macabeos, 3-2, in 13 innings. Quebradillas pitcher Carl Leah, in particular, had a standout performance. Quebradillas is now 6-10.
The Corsarios relied on second baseman Silvio Trujillo for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the 13th, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.
"This kind of game is tough on the heart," said winning manager Aimar Ruiz.
