The San German Golondrinas got a good effort from starter Álvaro Salas in defeating the Fajardo Insolentes at Estadio Rolando Figueroa. The final score was 2-1. Picking up the save was Roberto Hernández, his 3rd. The win puts San German at 11-7.

Jaime de Jesús, who is tied for 3rd in the LH in RBI with 16, had a direct impact on the outcome. de Jesús contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the sixth inning to put San German up, 2-1.
