Quebradillas Beats Anasco, 7-1

The home crowd had a good time watching the Anasco Matadioses and Quebradillas Corsarios get after it.
Quebradillas Corsarios starter Panagiotes Díaz found his groove in his team's 7-1 win over the Anasco Matadioses. In 7.1 innings, Díaz surrendered 8 hits, while striking out 0 and walking 2. He allowed 1 run.
Nicolás Martínez had a big bases-clearing double for the Corsarios in the bottom of the first inning. With Quebradillas leading 3-0 and the bases loaded, he got a slider from 27-year old right-handed pitcher Premislao Tijerina and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 1st double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Corsarios ahead, 6-0.
"Everything felt in sync," said Díaz.
Quebradillas is now 3-0.
