Arroyo's Martínez Reaches 1000 Hits
It was a banner day for Jorge Martínez, who collected his 1000th hit in the Arroyo 6-5 win over Vega Alta. Martínez went 3-for-4 in the game as both Telegrafistas and Martilleros fans cheered Martínez when he reached base after his hit.

"It feels great to get #1000," Martínez said afterward, "especially since we won the game."
