The Bayamon Lecheros picked up a win at Coliseo Báquides Linares, downing the Humacao Milagrosos, 2-1. On the mound for Bayamon was right-hander Édgar Martínez, who played a pivotal role in the win. Martínez got the win, improving to 12-20. He gave up 9 hits and walked 1 over 9 innings. He allowed 1 run.
Bayamon used a timely hit from Amadís Zayas to get the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Lecheros ahead, 2-1. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a difference-maker.
