Arzobispos Get Past Aguas Buenas, 3-2
|
The Aguada Arzobispos picked up a win at Coliseo Miguel Chávez, dropping the Aguas Buenas Mulos, 3-2. Nicodemo Ceja, who led the LH in innings pitched with 408.1 in 1907, was the difference-maker. Pablo Silva, now 8-9, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings. Aguada currently is in first place in the Liga Betances Noroeste at 78-58.
Jack Meyers had a direct impact on the outcome. Meyers contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the ninth inning to put Aguada up, 3-2.
Meyers attributed the win to "everyone pulling their weight."
