La Chataigneraie Tosses No-Hitter Against Yauco Monday, September 29th , 1913 In a brilliant performance at Coliseo Aldo Gallardo, Naguabo pitcher Aniceto La Chataigneraie entered an elite group by tossing a no-hitter against the Yauco Corsos. In the effort, he fanned 1 and walked 1, leading the Navegadores to victory, 6-0. "I was getting my off-speed stuff over so they couldn't sit on the fastball," La Chataigneraie said in the clubhouse after the game. "My guys made some nice plays behind me and cut off several hits, too." For the season, La Chataigneraie is 18-and-7 with 4 saves and a 2.18 ERA.
