Gilley Humbles Vega Baja, 13-0 Monday, September 29th , 1913 Goose eggs were the order of the day for the Vega Baja Caneros as starter Matt Gilley shut them out, 13-0, at Estadio Cresencio RodrÃguez. The Moca pitcher struck out 6 and walked 2 while allowing 9 hits. "Gilley was good but he wasn't flawless," Vega Baja manager Juan Covarrubias said. "We had a few opportunities to make something happen and we didn't do it. Not to take anything away from Moca, but this is on us."
