Aibonito Downs Quebradillas as Brier Tosses 11-0 Shutout Tuesday, September 30th , 1913 All went well for Redmond Brier of the Aibonito Frios as he pitched his team to a shutout victory, 11-0, over the Quebradillas Corsarios, limiting them to 2 hits. In the postgame interview, both managers had glowing things to say about Brier on the day. "Redmond's got a good selection of pitches he can throw at a guy," said Frios manager Rafael Gutiérrez. "He changes speed, gives different looks to different hitters. When he's on his game, he's quite a handful." In the contest, the Aibonito right-hander rang up 1 and surrendered 2 walks. "He didn't give us any second chances," said Corsarios manager Aimar Ruiz. "It's a guessing game with him and today we were always guessing wrong."
