San Lorenzo Goes Scoreless Against McGaughey, Santos Friday, October 3rd , 1913 The Adjuntas Santos did little to support starter Craig McGaughey against the San Lorenzo Leyendas, but it turned out he didn't need the help. The right-hander spun a complete game shutout against the Leyendas, striking out 7 and surrendering 4 hits. The performance from McGaughey allowed Adjuntas to escape with the 1-0 win, despite an anemic offense. "Nobody came to me and said, 'Craig, we're gonna need you to win this one for us today,' but I could feel it," McGaughey told BNN reporters following the win. "I'm the guy that will step up for you when you need it." To date, McGaughey has a 10-7 mark in 24 starts with a 2.87 ERA.
