Vaca Dominates Aguadilla Friday, October 10th , 1913 Before the game, Orlando Vaca said he liked his chances. His instincts proved to be right. In a superb outing at Coliseo Joaquín Marín, the Romeros pitcher blanked the Aguadilla Colmillos, 3-0. "I just had a feeling it was going to be my day," Vaca said in the clubhouse afterward. "My control was awesome. I could throw my splitter even when I was behind in the count." The Hormigueros starter held Aguadilla scoreless, giving up 3 hits while registering 2 strikeouts and issuing 2 walks.
