Postseason Bid Ends for Yabucoa Sunday, October 12th , 1913 The Yabucoa Dulceros season has ultimately ended in disappointment. After staying in the hunt until the final days of the season, Yabucoa has now been officially eliminated from playoff qualification. "We were so close," closer Melchor Alvarado said wistfully. Before this season, the Dulceros last missed the playoffs in 1911. In the 13 years they have been a Liga Nacional Puertorriquena franchise, they have made the playoffs 6 times. |
