1000th Hit for Salazar Wednesday, October 15th , 1913 It was a banner day for Emanuel Salazar, who collected his 1000th hit in the Hatillo 2-0 win over Canovanas. Salazar went 1-for-2 in the game as both Canarios and Chupacabras fans cheered Salazar when he reached base after his hit.
