Mulos Heading to Campeonato de las Ligas Wednesday, November 12th , 1913 The Aguas Buenas Mulos are one step closer to winning a Campeonato Nacional Puertorriqueño, and the season came to a close for the Rio Grande Cotorras. Aguas Buenas won the Serie Interdivisional 4-2, with a 3-1 victory in the deciding game at Coliseo Miguel Chávez today. Aguas Buenas right fielder Ignacio Zarate was named the MVP of the series, after hitting .391 with a .462 on-base percentage. He had 0 homers, drove in 2 RBI and scored 3 runs. "I just hope I can keep it up in the Campeonato de las Ligas," he said. The Aguas Buenas Mulos will play against the Arroyo Telegrafistas in the next round. Arroyo won their series against the Maricao Cafeteros 4 games to 2. The Campeonato de las Ligas schedule will be announced after the Serie Interdivisional finishes.
