Rookie Trophy Reeled in by Caguas's Jensen Saturday, December 6th , 1913 Bjarne Jensen of the Caguas Coquis enjoyed a fine rookie season in 1913, culminating today with his announcement as the winner of the Liga Hostos Nobilísimo. During the regular season the 22-year-old budding star played in 151 games, hit .223, collected 115 hits in 515 at-bats with 4 home runs, 42 RBIs and 53 runs scored. Ramón Ramos of the Carolina Tumbabrazos finished second in voting, while Lucas Landry of the Adjuntas Santos finished third. |
