Carolina, Vega Alta Execute Trade Sunday, December 14th , 1913 Carolina and Vega Alta announced some roster changes today as the Tumbabrazos acquired 27-year old RHP Fructuoso Madrid from the Martilleros in exchange for 17-year old minor league RHP Maximiliano González and 23-year old minor league 2B Denis Fernandes. Representatives from both teams say they are pleased with the deal. Since breaking into the league, Madrid has compiled a 29-64 mark, pitched in 146 games, been credited with 3 saves and amassed a 3.64 ERA. He has 282 strikeouts in 880 innings pitched. |
