Mayhugh Is August's Best WL Hurler Monday, September 1st , 1913 In August Cincinnati starter Tim Mayhugh confused hitters all month long. Last month's Western League Pitcher of the Month took home the trophy as he collected a 3-0 record in 4 starts. The 31-year-old Mayhugh added 12 strikeouts in 27 innings and 16 walks to his season record and compiled a 0.33 ERA. Other clubs hit .196 against him. This season, Mayhugh has a 11-8 record with a 2.17 ERA in 21 starts. |
