Great Day for Cedeño -- 5 Hits Tuesday, August 12th , 1913 The Sonora Chacales might think twice next time about pitching to Ciriaco Cedeño. At Estadio de Saltillo, the Coahuila Carboneros catcher burned Sonora pitching, going 5-for-8 in a 6-5 Coahuila triumph. "When he's on his game," Coahuila skipper Esteban Bellán told reporters, "he can probably stroke a base hit blindfolded." Ciriaco Cedeño grounded out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th, singled in the 9th, grounded out in the 11th, flied out in the 12th and hit a two-run single in the 14th.
