Homer #100 for Aberdeen's Magdaleno Friday, September 18th , 1908 The Aberdeen Granite had something to celebrate today even though they dropped a 6-5 decision to Glasgow. The reason -- the splendid slugger Emilio Magdaleno hit his 100th career homer in today's contest at Shipwrights Stadium. "I'm fortunate to be here," Magdaleno told the media after the game. "The Granite have a classy organization and some great fans. Homer #100 was for them." Magdaleno has a career .283 batting average and .352 on-base percentage.
