WGLA Player of the Week Chosen Monday, July 14th , 1913 Over the past week, Álvaro Acevedo has feasted on Western Great Lakes Association pitching. Today the Alpena Partridges first baseman gobbled up the league's latest Player of the Week Award. Acevedo swung the bat with purpose all week as he collected a .440 average, 11 hits in 25 at-bats, 3 home runs, 11 RBIs and 5 runs scored. So far this season, Acevedo is hitting .319 with 7 home runs. |
