WGLA's #1 Player Named Monday, July 28th , 1913 The Western Great Lakes Association has selected its Player of the Week. The honor went to Diego Santos, catcher of the Mackinac Island Stone Skippers. In a standout performance, he lit up the league with a .524 average to win the award. Santos went 11-for-21 for the week, totaled 1 home run with 7 RBIs and scored 3 times. On the year, Santos has hit .306 with 17 home runs, 60 RBIs and scored 42 runs. |
