WGLA Announces Outstanding Batter Award Monday, September 1st , 1913 It's perhaps an award he'll win many more times through his career, as at age 25 Jeremy Juriga has a lot of baseball ahead of him. But for now the young Bay City Sugar Beets star can enjoy the numbers he put up in August, which have garnered him the nod as the Western Great Lakes Association Batter of the Month. His breakout month featured a .412 average with 4 home runs, 19 RBIs and 18 runs scored. So far this year, Juriga is hitting .362 with 9 home runs. |
