Domínguez Dominates London Monday, September 22nd , 1913 In a remarkable performance, Mentor Rose Stockings starter Darío Domínguez beat the London Regulars, 6-0, in an impressive 6-hit shutout. "My arm felt good, mechanics were good and my stuff was working," he said later. "It doesn't get any better than this." The Rose Stockings hurler finished with 8 strikeouts and no walks. He showed pinpoint control and a sharp fastball. "It was a rough one for my guys," London manager Federico Pérez said, following the game. "We weren't at our best and their guy was." Up to now Domínguez has compiled an ERA of 3.41 with a 17-16 mark over 33 starts. He has 242 strikeouts in 269.1 innings and has held opponents to a .236 batting average.
