Oswego Gives the Old Heave-Ho to Manager Vega Saturday, October 18th , 1913 A press conference announcing the firing of Cristóbal Vega has been set for today by the Oswego Hydropathists. When pressed for reasons behind the decision to fire Vega, Oswego GM Dévora said, "We spoke in my office for an hour and decided that it was time to make a change. Unfortunately, his philosophy was no longer working in the clubhouse and a new voice was necessary for us to continue moving in the right direction." A replacement is expected to be named to the media soon. |
